The ones that know me are aware of the fact that I am a traditional person, and one of those traditions(inherited from my family too) is baking sweets every sunday.I guess many of you share the same habit.I myself am incapable of buying pastry,I rather wait untill sunday, rescue old recipes and bake them myself. My mom gave me this old tea biscuit recipe, and even though the result isn´t as good as hers,I had a lot of fun making the biscuist and enjoying one of my chilhood favourites sweets.
Basic paste recipe is very easy. The filling is a gummy delicacy made with starch and sugar and it´s called Rahat lokum. It´s a turkish sweet, ideal for baking cookies, sponge cakes and other sweets. Here I give  you the link so you get an ideea. You can purchase this sweet in specialized stores or international ones, like I did.

Ingredientes :
-150g mantequilla
-150g yougur
- 1 huevo
- 2 cucharras azúcar glassé
- 1 pizca de sal
- 1 sobre levadura
- 1-2 sobres azúcar avainillado
-600g harina

Ingredients:
-150g butter
-150g yogurt
-1egg
-2 spoonful of milled sugar
-bit of salt
-1 pack of baking powder
-1-2 packs of vanilla sugar
-600g flour

How to do it:
We mik together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, the egg,the baking powder mixed with lemon zest, and afterwards, the yogurt. Then we add the flour and we mix until we obtain a solid paste, same as bread. We take pieces of this paste and we extend it until forming a circle of 1-2mm thickness. With the help of a plate and  a cutter(like the one you use for pizza) we cut a circle and then we cut this circle into 8 pieces, just like a pizza. We put a piece of rahat on top of each slice and roll over until croissant shaped. We pass it to a baking tray and oven to 200ºC for 20-25 minutes. While still warm bathe in milled sugar and set aside until serve.
Well, hope you liked it and I can´t wait to listen to your opinions,my dearest gourmets!
